50Fischers Fritz is proud to present the gourmet chefs of the northat its legendary kitchen party The north captures Berlin: this year, the theme of the traditional kitchen party at the 2 starred restaurant Fischers Fritz at the Regent Berlin is ‘Vikings
in Berlin’. Chef de Cuisine Christian Lohse has invited any celebrated chefs from the north. Together they will transform
his kitchen into a stage of culinary delights with food stations,
live music and live cooking.
This extraordinary feast for all the senses will take place on October 26th, 2014. The Vikings not only represent the north, but they also stand for daring discoveries that included impressive achievements and sailing skills as well as a cunning talent for negotiations and business. Through their extensive trade routes which reached as far as the Middle East and even Asia, they acquired various spices including pepper, star anise and cinnamon, as well as candies and candied fruit. Already in the Middle Ages they were well ahead of their time.
Nordic by Nature: This counts for all the participating chefs who will cook alongside Christian Lohse and his team from 6.30pm onwards on this memorable evening. The list of vineyard representatives is also impressive: beside the Weingut Dr. Bürklin-Wolf (Wachenheim/Pfalz) and the wine producers Enderle&Moll, Münchweier (Baden) will also be present to
indulge guests with elegant and sophisticated wines.
